We are a family owned and operated business.  The vision started in 1986 when the property we purchased consisted of mainly pasture.  We have always loved timber so we started planting evergreens as a way to grow trees fast.   That first year we planted 500 trees painstakingly by hand.  It took a full week of vacation to accomplish the task.  Unfortunately all but 12 died due to lack of moisture (a draught)!  Two years later we planted 500 more in the same spot and thanks to Mother Nature the majority of them survived.  Thus, the Scotch Hill Christmas Tree Farm was born.

In 1997 we started selling our first trees.  Other than closing in 2012 and 2013 due to lack of trees (we figured out we have a limited quantity) we have been generating family traditions for over 20 years!

We love the joy this brings to families!  This fast paced world doesn't give us many opportunities to get outside and enjoy family activities.  We hope our farm will help your family generate memories that will live forever!
